Introduction

Very few people would be surprised by the idea that truck drivers tend not to be in the best physical shape.  As the population of truck drivers ages this trend looks even worse and safety can quickly become affected by it. Despite the fact that commercial motor vehicle drivers can sit for over 13 hours per day, with proper diet and exercise they can still be physically fit.  It is just a matter of eating healthy, exercising, and planning.  This class will discuss these subjects in enough detail that as a commercial motor vehicle operator you will be able to live a long and healthy life.
